Another Local Authority Win for Whitham Mills

Whitham Mills Engineering Limited, the Manchester-based fully automatic baler supplier and manufacturer, has won another local authority tender, this time to supply St Edmundsbury Council with a fully automatic baler system.

This install is the latest in a long line of success for Whitham Mills in the local authority sector and features a Fully Automatic baler (GB1108FSS) that replaced the council’s existing Semi-Automatic baler which could not keep up with the material turnover. The council also opted for the 3-year WME service package along with a 2-year warranty.

The new GB1108FSS is fully automatic and able to process up to 4 tonnes per hour of cardboard. Capable of handling a variety of materials including both paper and cardboard, it can produce bales weighing around 500kg and measuring 1100mm x 750mm x 2000mm.
